Job Overview:

We are looking for a Junior Software Test Engineer to join our team and play a key role in ensuring the quality of our software products. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative environment where you'll help deliver reliable, high-performance solutions. As part of our testing team, you will contribute to ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of functionality and reliability, working closely with various internal teams to achieve these goals.

Your Responsibilities:

• Conducting comprehensive software requirement analysis to ensure comprehensive testing and validation of solutions, playing a key role in guaranteeing the quality of the final product.
• Creating and maintaining a robust software testing framework.
• Developing automated software testing methods, both in black-box and white-box contexts, to enhance efficiency and accuracy in the testing process.
• Crafting detailed test cases, test specifications, and scenarios at various levels, including system, component, and unit levels, to cover the full spectrum of the software & functionalities.
• Executing tests systematically and conducting error analysis, including debugging activities, to identify and address issues efficiently.
• Contributing to the code maintenance process by actively participating in GIT merge request analysis and code reviews, ensuring that the codebase aligns with quality standards.
• Collaborating closely with fellow team members within the software development unit and software product assurance team, as well as providing support to other internal engineering teams as needed.
• Documenting and reporting on the tests performed, along with the corresponding results, to provide clear insights into the softwares performance and adherence to specifications.

What Were Looking For:

Must Have:

• Proficiency in Python.
• Basic understanding of microcontrollers, including knowledge of their architecture and operation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a logical approach to troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with version control systems like GIT.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with the team.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with the pytest framework or equivalent testing tools.
• Working knowledge of the C programming language.
• Understanding of or interest in the space sector, particularly telecommunications systems.
• Hands-on experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices.
• Exposure to software design principles and scalability considerations.
• Familiarity with embedded systems development tools and environment
• Knowledge in CI/CD
